Segmental occlusion of the punctured right CFA in a 65-year-old woman suffering from acute lower limb ischaemia following transarterial mitral valve replacement. Despite inconclusive findings on precontrast CT images (thin arrow in a, note similarity with Fig.1), CT angiography (B) showed non-opacification of a 2-cm segment of the CFA (arrow). Surgical arteriotomy and endoarterectomy was immediately performed
