Borderline seromucinous tumor within an ovarian endometrioma in a 77-year-old woman with a long-standing history of endometriosis and previous hysterectomy for cervical cancer. Sagittal (a), coronal (b), and axial (c) T2-weighted images show a mixed ovarian mass filled with typical intermediate signal intensity content (*“shading” effect), containing multiple mural solid nodules (arrows). Axial fat-suppressed T1-weighted image (d) shows the homogeneous hemorrhagic fluid classically found within ovarian endometrioma. Heterogeneous enhancement of the nodules is displayed on fat-suppressed contrast-enhanced T1 image (e), better seen on subtraction sequence (f)
