Incidental splenosis in a 50-year-old woman with history of previous splenectomy and abdominal discomfort. a–d Axial CT images in the portal phase show solid peritoneal nodules in the splenic fossa and left paracolic gutter, with homogeneous contrast uptake (red arrows). The distribution and characteristics of the lesions was consistent with splenosis implants and there were no other pathological findings in the rest of the abdomen. No further imaging was considered necessary
