Headcheese sign. This sign consists in a mixed pulmonary pattern with areas of various attenuation. It is characterized by the contemporary presence of areas of ground glass attenuation (black peripheral arrowheads, due to infiltrative diseases), air-trapping (black arrows), and healthy lung zones. This pattern is reminiscent of the appearance of headcheese—as well demonstrated in this patient with subacute hypersensitivity pneumonitis
