Low-power photomicrograph (original magnification, haematoxylin and eosin stain) of lung tissue shows dense non-necrotising granulomatous infiltration. The sample demonstrates well both localisation of the lesion around a dilated terminal airway and bronchial wall destruction by the infiltrate.
