Neurofibroma in a 53-year-old male with a painless left thumb nailbed swelling of 4–5-year duration. The patient had no personal or family history of neurofibromatosis or any other clinical manifestations, and this was likely an isolated lesion. (a) T1w sequence shows a lobulated subcutaneous lesion at the tip of the thumb, isointense to muscle involving the skin, with mild pressure erosion on the underlying distal phalanx (arrow).
