Imaging of myelolipoma. An 80-year-old woman with an incidental pre-sacral mass identified on CT (a). The mass (arrow) is heterogeneous with predominant fat attenuation and some solid enhancing components. The appearances are similar to a liposarcoma. Biopsy revealed mature adipose tissue and myeloid contents. A sulphur colloid scan (b) shows uptake in the pre-sacral region (arrow) confirming the diagnosis of extra-adrenal myelolipoma
