A 73-year-old female patient was complaining of nausea and vomiting. MR enteroclysis axial fat-saturated VIBE image after intravenous contrast medium demonstrates the ‘whirl’ sign (arrowhead), which indicates a mesenteric twist in the case of internal hernia. The patient had undergone Nissen fundoplication surgery previously. There were no signs of malrotation or small bowel obstruction
