Shows a hyperdense lesion (79 HU on conventional CT images). However, it becomes clear when the spectral series are used that it is in fact a hyperdense cyst within the kidney that would be classified as a Bosniak type II as it is less than 3 cm and do not enhance (Iodine density 0.01 mg/mL, 40 monoenergetic with HU values of 83).
