The two groups were matched for age (± 5 years), sex, revisit timing, comorbidity (malignancy), and six disease categories (neurologic, digestive, neoplasm, respiratory, circulatory, and other diseases). In the matched set, binary outcomes were compared using logit models with generalized estimating equations, which accounted for the clustering of matched pairs.
