Intraluminal appendicolith. An obstructive appendicolith with acute appendicitis is confirmed on subsequent CT b that also reveals fluid in the cul-de-sac (asterisk) and peritoneal enhancement. Perforated appendicitis with turbid intraperitoneal fluid was confirmed at surgery
