Conventional images showed an incidental finding in the right kidney (arrows) with heterogeneous attenuation on the portovenous phase (a). The lesion’s heterogeneity and suspected enhancing component are accentuated using a 50 keV mono-energetic image (b). Iodine maps prove that the lesion’s high attenuation is true enhancement (c), showing iodine content of 4.8 mg/mL and a normalized iodine content of 1.1 mg/mL, suspicious for RCC
