Diagnosis: pleural sarcoidosis. Technique: axial contrast-enhanced chest CT. Description: A 50-year-old man was referred for a chest CT as part of an investigation for shortness of breath. The axial contrast-enhanced CT in lung window settings (a, b) shows extensive bilateral nodular pleural thickening with diffuse micronodules. Video-assisted thoracoscopy was performed and histopathologic examination showed findings consistent with pleural sarcoidosis
