A 30-year-old woman was admitted to the emergency department with right upper quadrant pain. Axial contrast-enhanced CT image demonstrates calcified hydatid cyst (arrows) rupture through the perihepatic space. A fluid collection containing cyst content (asterisks) was found adjacent to the hepatic capsule due to the loss of integrity of the cyst wall (arrowheads). Surgical findings confirmed the rupture of the hydatid cyst into the perihepatic space
