A 16-year-old girl was admitted to the emergency department with a 1-week history of pruritus, jaundice, and fever. Axial T2-weighted MR-image shows the imaging findings of intrabiliary rupture of a hydatid cyst (long arrows). Floating membrane within the dilated bile duct (short white arrows) and daughter cysts (asterisks) are also noted. Serological tests for E. granulosus were positive.
