Vertebral venous vascular malformation. Sagittal (a) and axial (b) T2-weighted MR images demonstrate a well-defined lesion in the right posterolateral aspect of T12 (arrows). The lesion is hyperintense relative to the surrounding normal marrow, and demonstrates suppression (arrow) on the T2 fat-suppressed sequence (c). This was an incidental finding and diagnosed radiographically as a vascular malformation. Given the lack of expansion into the spinal canal or compression of the cord, unlike the prior case, this is considered a “do not touch” lesion
