Left adrenal haemorrhage in a foetus at 18 weeks gestation, following termination of pregnancy for megalourethra. The post-mortem ultrasound images of the left kidney in sagittal section (a) and of the adrenal glands in transverse plane (b) were obtained 6 days after delivery. There is a large septated, cystic mass in the left suprarenal space (solid arrows), better depicted on the sagittal contrast enhanced micro-CT imaging (c) of the extracted left kidney. The findings were in keeping with a small haematoma from in utero adrenal haemorrhage
