The postmortem ultrasound imaging (a) and T2-weighted MRI imaging at 1.5 T (b) both clearly demonstrate the usual appearances of haemostasis and collapse of the descending aorta (solid white arrows) and also prominent patent ductus arteriosus (dotted arrow)
