A 19-year-old man with seminoma. Contrast-enhanced axial CT scan demonstrates a large mass in the right side of the mediastinum with an obvious mass effect on great vessels and heart. The mass shows heterogeneous CT-attenuation values probably secondary to haemorrhage and coagulation necrosis. Note also a right pleural effusion (arrowhead) and multiple lung metastasis (arrows)
