In addition a small fluid level is seen (black arrow) on the right side. Bronchial wall thickening, multiple cylindrical bronchiectases and small mucus plugs in the periphery are also seen in both lungs. d A section from HRCT of the lungs performed 1.5 months earlier shows bronchiectases anteriorly in the middle lobe and the lingula segment (arrows), and also in both lower lobes.
